Randy GriffinRandy Griffin

Randy Griffin R.N., M.S., H.N.C. is a respected administrator, an innovative program developer, a committed researcher, educator and lecturer. Consistently on the leading edge of health care practices, Randy's programs and models have set new standards for patients with Alzheimer's Disease, Related Dementias and Hospice Care. A Certified Holistic Nurse, Randy’s approach is to treat the “whole person” not just the symptom. To this end she teaches Therapeutic Touch and Reflexology to health care professionals and non-professionals alike. Her passion is to educate and support the development of full-circle healing for caregivers, patients and their families. Recognized as an international expert in nursing, dietetics and hospice care, she has presented her work at numerous international conferences (such as The World Congress on the Care of the Terminally Ill). She also provides training and consulting services to organizations such as The Yale School of Medicine, The University of Connecticut, The Alzheimer’s Association and the Alzheimer's Resource Center. Randy has authored numerous books and articles and recently released her signature program The Trusting Touch™.

 

Carole JacobyCarole Jacoby

Carole Jacoby, M.Ed., M.S., M.C.C. is a native of wellness and prevention programs and has been a teacher, psychotherapist, consultant and trainer for the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University. As a Master Certified Coach (M.C.C.) she effectively connects health care professionals to their future goals and supports them in fulfilling their potential. Through training and coaching for leaders, middle management and their teams, Carole facilities growth and development, helps to improve communication, which ultimately influences productivity and bottom-line results. Having spent much of her life working with individuals, groups and organizations, she knows how to lead, coach and educate so that participants feel inspired and motivated. Carole holds two masters degrees and is certified as a Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation. She was trained as a professional coach by The Coaches Training Institute in CA. Carole has authored an article on the topic of social adjustment and it appears as a quote in Daniel Goleman’s popular book, Emotional Intelligence. She has been the subject of a number of articles on Coaching.
